ISLAMABAD – Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar yesterday held a telephonic conversation with Bangladesh’s Foreign Minister Dr Khalil ur Rehman, congratulating him on his recent appointment and reaffirming Islamabad’s commitment to strengthening bilateral relations.
During the call, the two leaders expressed their shared desire to further enhance ties between Pakistan and Bangladesh, guided by a common vision of peace, stability and prosperity for their respective peoples, the Foreign Office said.
Both sides agreed to expand cooperation across diverse sectors and to work closely in multilateral fora, aiming to build a forward-looking and constructive partnership.
They underscored the importance of sustained engagement and collaboration to unlock the full potential of bilateral relations.
