Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has called an important meeting today at the Prime Minister House to address the country’s administrative and economic situation amid regional and global challenges.
The session, chaired by the prime minister, includes chief ministers of all four provinces, the chief minister of Gilgit-Baltistan, and the prime minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir. The key agenda is to seek consensus approval on the national austerity policy and formulate a joint strategy to provide relief to the public.
Officials said the meeting will also review economic measures aimed at easing the financial burden on citizens. Proposals under consideration include holding official meetings via Zoom, implementing work-from-home arrangements in offices, and conducting school and college classes online.
‘Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif also praised security forces for successfully eliminating 13 terrorists in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, highlighting the government’s ongoing focus on national security.
Sources indicated that several important decisions regarding public welfare and administrative reforms are expected during the session, aiming to strengthen governance and economic stability across the country.
