A meeting between Bushra Bibi and the founder of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, Imran Khan, was arranged at Adiala Jail on Wednesday.
According to a jail report, Bushra Bibi was allowed to meet Imran Khan in the conference room of the prison facility. The meeting reportedly lasted for about 30 minutes.
Sources said the discussion focused on the PTI founder’s health, particularly his eye condition, and the ongoing medical treatment he is receiving.During the meeting, the two also discussed the appeals currently under hearing in courts as well as other legal matters related to the cases against them. Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi have been granted pre-arrest bail in the Toshakhana and May 9 cases.
Jail officials said that after the meeting concluded, both Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi were escorted back to their respective cells inside the prison.
