Eid shopping activity has intensified across the country as citizens flock to markets, commercial centres and shopping malls to complete preparations for the upcoming Eidul Fitr celebrations.
With the holy month of Ramazan drawing to a close, bustling markets and brightly lit shopping centres are witnessing a surge in visitors. Shops and malls have been adorned with colourful lights and artistic decorations to attract customers, creating a festive atmosphere in major commercial areas.
Despite the vibrant scenes, many shoppers have expressed concerns over the rising prices of Eid-related items. Buyers searching for new clothes, shoes, jewellery and gifts have been crowding markets during the final days of Ramazan, which traditionally see a spike in shopping activity ahead of the three-day religious festival.
Temporary stalls offering cosmetics, earrings, bangles, embroidered outfits, jewellery and a variety of colourful dresses have been set up in busy marketplaces, drawing people of all ages eager to complete their Eid purchases.
Children, excited about the approaching festivities, are also accompanying their parents to markets to select new clothes and shoes for the occasion, adding to the lively atmosphere in shopping areas.
