Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar held a telephone conversation with Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan on Wednesday night to discuss the evolving regional situation.
During the call, both leaders expressed deep concern over ceasefire violations in Lebanon and stressed the urgent need for full compliance with the ceasefire to ensure lasting peace and stability in the region.
Dar appreciated Saudi Arabia’s continued support for Pakistan’s efforts aimed at promoting regional peace.
Both sides agreed to remain in close contact in view of ongoing developments.
