Ishaq Dar on Thursday held a telephone conversation with Kaja Kallas to discuss the evolving regional situation and its wider economic implications.
During the conversation, the European Union official appreciated Pakistan’s constructive and facilitative role in promoting regional peace and stability.
Ishaq Dar reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to dialogue and engagement for maintaining peace in the region.
The deputy prime minister also praised the successful holding of the EU-Pakistan Business Forum in Islamabad, saying the event would help strengthen partnerships and create new business opportunities.
Both leaders agreed to remain in close contact on regional and bilateral matters.
