The National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) has issued a heatwave alert warning of extremely hot weather across parts of Sindh, southern Punjab and eastern Balochistan from Tuesday till May 26.
According to the advisory, temperatures are expected to exceed 42 degrees Celsius in several districts, raising concerns over heat-related illnesses and emergencies.
In Sindh, severe heatwave conditions are likely in Hyderabad, Karachi, Jacobabad, Khairpur, Sukkur, Larkana, Dadu, Naushahro Feroze, Kashmore, Tharparkar, Shaheed Benazirabad, Matiari, Mirpurkhas, Umerkot, Badin and Qambar Shahdadkot.
