Faisal Karim Kundi has said multiple steps are being taken to improve public services and infrastructure in Dera Ismail Khan for the convenience of residents.
Addressing a function in Dera Ismail Khan on Sunday, the Governor said four new offices of National Database and Registration Authority will be established in the area, while passport counters will also be set up at NADRA offices to provide citizens with multiple services under one roof.
He said Section IV has been imposed on 1,600 acres of land for the proposed Greenfield Airport in Dera Ismail Khan, adding that once completed it will be among the country’s largest airports.
Faisal Karim Kundi further said tenders for construction of the dual carriageway linking Dera Ismail Khan with Dera Ghazi Khan have been finalized with the support of the Asian Development Bank.
He said the projects will help improve connectivity, strengthen infrastructure, and provide better facilities to people in the region.
