Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar received a telephone call from Toshimitsu Motegi to discuss regional developments and bilateral cooperation.
During the conversation, the two leaders welcomed the understanding reached between the United States and Iran, describing it as an important development for regional stability and the wider international community.
The Japanese foreign minister expressed Japan’s deep appreciation for Pakistan’s sustained mediatory role and constructive diplomatic efforts that helped facilitate and advance the outcome achieved between the two countries.
Both leaders reaffirmed the importance of continued diplomatic engagement and agreed to maintain close contact and regular exchanges to further strengthen bilateral relations and enhance coordination on issues of mutual interest.
