The district administration has declared Tuesday, July 22, a local public holiday across Multan to mark the 787th annual Urs of Hazrat Bahauddin Zakariya Multani (RA).
According to a notification issued by Deputy Commissioner Dr Faisal Saleem, all government offices, public institutions and district offices in the city will remain closed on the occasion.
The notification stated that the holiday has been announced to facilitate devotees and residents participating in the annual Urs celebrations and related religious activities.
