Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar held a telephone conversation with Kuwaiti Foreign Minister Sheikh Jarrah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah to discuss bilateral ties, regional developments and matters of mutual interest.
During the conversation, FM Jarrah congratulated Ishaq Dar on the recent signing of the Makkah Joint Defence Agreement between Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and Türkiye.
The two foreign ministers also exchanged views on the evolving regional situation, including developments in Occupied East Jerusalem.
They reviewed Pakistan-Kuwait relations and discussed ways to further strengthen cooperation in key areas, particularly investment and economic engagement.The talks also included follow-up on FM Jarrah’s recent visit to Pakistan and ways to build on the understanding reached during the visit.
Both sides agreed to maintain close contact and continue consultations on issues of common interest.
