Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has arrived in London after concluding a five-day visit to the United States, where he attended the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) and held meetings with world leaders.
The prime minister arrived at London’s Luton Airport, where he was received by Pakistan’s High Commissioner Tipu Usman.
PM Shehbaz is expected to stay in London for two days, during which he will undergo a medical check-up before returning to Pakistan.
During his visit to the United States, the prime minister addressed the UN General Assembly and held meetings with world leaders on the sidelines of the session.
In his address, PM Shehbaz highlighted Pakistan’s role in promoting global peace and discussed the situation in the Middle East and efforts to resolve conflicts through mediation.
He also attended a dinner hosted by representatives of the Overseas Pakistani Business Forum in the United States.
The prime minister is expected to return to Pakistan after completing his two-day stay in London.
