Two youths were killed in a road accident involving a car and a motorcycle in Matiari on Saturday.
According to eyewitnesses, the accident occurred on Hala Link Road when a speeding car collided head-on with a motorcycle carrying two youths.
Both motorcyclists sustained critical injuries and died at the scene.
Police officials reached the spot after receiving information about the incident and launched an initial investigation. The deceased were identified as Naveed and Asim.
After completing the necessary legal formalities, police shifted the bodies to Taluka Hospital Hala for medico-legal procedures.
Police said further investigation was underway to determine the exact cause of the collision, including whether excessive speed or another factor contributed to the accident.
