The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has introduced an alternative biometric verification facility for citizens whose fingerprints are faint, unavailable or difficult to detect.
According to a NADRA spokesperson, the authority received several complaints from citizens facing difficulties during fingerprint verification at banks and other institutions.
The spokesperson said the new facility would allow individuals whose fingerprints cannot be accurately detected by biometric devices to complete the identity verification process through an alternative procedure.
The initiative aims to address biometric verification problems faced by citizens whose fingerprints have become unclear or cannot be properly recognized by biometric systems.
The alternative verification facility is expected to facilitate citizens who previously faced difficulties completing biometric verification due to fingerprint-related issues.
