Dar discusses regional situation with Turkish, Iranian counterparts

Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar held separate telephone conversations with his Turkish and Iranian counterparts on Tuesday to discuss regional and international developments, the Foreign Office said.

During his call with Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, both sides exchanged views on matters of mutual interest and reviewed the evolving regional and global situation. They agreed to remain in close contact and maintain coordination in view of ongoing developments.

In a separate conversation with Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, Mr Dar discussed the regional environment in detail and underscored the importance of dialogue and diplomacy in addressing emerging challenges.

The two leaders also reaffirmed their commitment to continued cooperation and enhanced coordination between the two countries.

According to officials, the calls form part of Pakistan’s continued diplomatic engagement with key regional partners amid shifting geopolitical dynamics.
