Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif held a meeting with Minister for Kashmir Affairs and Gilgit-Baltistan, Engineer Amir Muqam, to discuss the evolving regional and political situation.
During the meeting, Amir Muqam appreciated the prime minister’s efforts to promote peace in the region, particularly in light of the recent regional developments. He commended Shehbaz Sharif for his diplomatic initiatives aimed at ensuring stability and de-escalation.
The minister also praised the government’s austerity measures, highlighting the prime minister’s commitment to financial discipline. He noted that despite challenging economic conditions, the government introduced a historic relief package to support the public.
Both leaders also exchanged views on the country’s political landscape and discussed ongoing and future development projects in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
