Pakistan Navy successfully tests indigenously developed anti-ship missile

In a demonstration of operational readiness and precision-strike capability, the Pakistan Navy has successfully conducted a live weapon firing of an indigenously developed ship-launched anti-ship missile, accurately hitting its target at extended range with high speed.

According to a statement issued by Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), the missile firing was witnessed by Naveed Ashraf, along with leading scientists and engineers.

The missile incorporates a state-of-the-art guidance system and advanced maneuverability, enabling it to evade threats, adapt to dynamic combat conditions, and strike targets with precision and effectiveness.

The successful launch highlights the country’s growing technological capabilities and operational expertise. Officials described the test as a reaffirmation of the Pakistan Navy’s commitment to maintaining a credible sea-based deterrence in the conventional domain and ensuring maritime security and regional stability.

The president, prime minister, Chief of Defence Forces, and services chiefs have congratulated the participating units and scientists on achieving the milestone.
