LAHORE – Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif underwent a major surgery at Sharif Medical City Hospital and was later shifted home after treatment, Senior Punjab Minister Marriyum Aurangzeb said on X. In her statement, Marriyum Aurangzeb said that despite undergoing surgery, the CM continued to monitor key provincial matters, including security, cleanliness and administrative affairs, from the hospital on Eid day. “Alhamdulillah, on Eid day, Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif personally monitored all provincial affairs, including security, cleanliness and other administrative matters, directly from the hospital,” she stated.
