Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has restarted its direct flight service between Pakistan and China, with the first flight operating on October 30, restoring air connectivity between Islamabad and Beijing.
The resumption is expected to strengthen aviation links between the two countries and reflects the national carrier’s efforts to restore and maintain regular services in the Chinese market.
Under the revised schedule, PIA will operate one weekly flight between Islamabad and Beijing every Friday, offering passengers a direct travel option between the two capitals. The airline also plans to provide competitive fares while maintaining reliable and consistent services.
As part of efforts to expand its reach across China, PIA has also strengthened cooperation with three major Chinese airlines: Air China, Shenzhen Airlines and Hainan Airlines.
The partnership with Air China will allow passengers travelling through Beijing to access onward connections to several domestic destinations across China, using the capital as a major transit hub.
