DG ISPR discusses national security and military affairs with students

Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Director General Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry recently held a special session with students and teachers from various educational institutions to discuss current affairs and military matters.

The session, attended by students and faculty from Convent of Jesus and Mary, Beaconhouse, and Roots School Systems, provided a platform for open dialogue on Pakistan’s operational military activities and internal security challenges.

During the meeting, the principal of Convent of Jesus and Mary School expressed gratitude for the sacrifices of Pakistan’s armed forces. Both students and teachers shared their views, with many expressing honor at the opportunity to engage directly with military leadership.

Students voiced pride in the armed forces, emphasizing their willingness to make the ultimate sacrifice for the nation’s safety.

The ISPR DG highlighted the importance of understanding current affairs from an informed perspective, warning against propaganda and misleading information on social media. He urged students to critically evaluate news, especially content that is harmful or deceptive.

Teachers reflected on the session, expressing admiration for the resolve and courage of Pakistan’s military. They praised the armed forces for defending the nation and emphasized the need to stand against strategic arrogance from adversaries.

By the end of the session, students demonstrated a clear understanding of the military’s critical role in combating terrorism and safeguarding national security.
