US-based Pak businessman calls on KP Governor 

Peshawar  –  Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi held a meeting with a US-based Pakistani businessman Syed Mujahid at the Governor House Peshawar on Friday.  Founder and CEO of Shaheen Group of Retail and Franchise Development, Syed Muhammad Iqbal, along with other representatives, were also present on the occasion.

During the meeting, detailed discussions were held on investment opportunities in the province, improving social sectors, and enhancing the role of overseas Pakistanis in national development. The two sides also explored potential avenues for collaboration and reviewed various joint venture possibilities.

Mujahid expressed keen interest in contributing to business and social development initiatives in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, saying that overseas Pakistanis have always remained committed to the progress of their homeland. He added that expatriates were eager to support efforts aimed at strengthening the national and provincial economies on modern lines.

Governor Kundi praised the dedication and patriotism of overseas Pakistanis, saying their significant role in boosting the province’s economy, advancing social welfare, and strengthening global linkages. He assured full cooperation from the government, emphasizing that investors and those serving in social sectors would be provided all possible support.

The Governor highlighted the vast opportunities available in investment, trade, and tourism across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, encouraging overseas Pakistanis to actively benefit from them. He also acknowledged their contributions to national economic stability and stressed the importance of further promoting such engagements in the future.
