An anti-terrorism court on Thursday extended the interim bail of Fawad Chaudhry in five cases linked to the May 9 violent incidents.
The hearing was conducted by Manzar Ali Gul, who also approved one application seeking exemption from personal appearance during the proceedings.
The court extended the interim bail of the former federal minister until May 7 and directed lawyers to present their arguments at the next hearing.
The cases pertain to the unrest and violence that erupted on May 9, for which multiple legal proceedings are currently underway.
