A special seminar was organized at the National University of Sciences and Technology to commemorate one year of the Marka-e-Haq victory, with participation from political leaders, former military officials, and diplomats.
Speaking at the event, Aamir Riaz said Pakistan’s security remained firmly protected under the country’s armed forces. He praised the military for defending national borders and stated that Pakistan had responded strategically to Indian proxies during last year’s conflict, surprising adversaries with its capabilities.
Senior politician Mushahid Hussain Syed said that truth and justice had prevailed in the conflict, strengthening Pakistan’s image across the Muslim world. He claimed the Pakistan Air Force demonstrated its superiority by downing Indian Rafale fighter jets within moments during the confrontation.
Commenting on regional affairs, Mushahid Hussain added that Pakistan was increasingly being viewed as a force for peace in South Asia and the Middle East, referring to Islamabad’s recent diplomatic efforts related to tensions involving Iran and the United States.
Former diplomat Masood Khan also addressed the gathering and commended the Pakistan Armed Forces for what he described as a successful response against India during the “Battle of Truth.”
He said the outcome of the conflict had become a source of national pride and credited both the political and military leadership for handling the situation effectively. He further described the Pakistan Air Force’s role during the confrontation as decisive and responsible in ensuring national security.
