Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has said that he delivered a letter and an important message from Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Field Marshal Asim Munir to Iran’s Supreme Leader Mojtaba Ali Khamenei during a meeting.
Speaking on the occasion, Naqvi expressed hope that the prevailing situation would improve and that the issue would be settled through dialogue and mutual understanding.
The interior minister highlighted the deep-rooted and brotherly relationship between Pakistan and Iran, emphasizing that the two neighbouring countries have always stood by each other during difficult times.
He said that when one country faces challenges, the other naturally shares its concerns and feels the impact as well.
Mohsin Naqvi also expressed confidence that the diplomatic initiatives undertaken by Pakistan’s leadership would contribute to easing tensions and helping resolve the ongoing crisis at the earliest opportunity.
He further voiced hope that all parties involved would engage constructively and work towards a positive and mutually acceptable outcome through peaceful means.
