MOSCOW – The Ambassador of Islamic Republic of Pakistan o the Russian Federation, Mr Faisal Niaz Tirmizi, welcomed at Pakistan House a group of high-achieving Pakistani students studying at Russian universities. The Ambassador congratulated Ms Rizvi Syeda Sabiha Mehreen on graduating with honours with a Master’s degree in International Relations from St. Petersburg State University, along with other outstanding Pakistani students, and commended their hard work and dedication.
The students shared their positive academic experiences, reflecting the growing appeal of Russian universities among Pakistani youth.Ambassador Tirmizi noted that nearly 1,300 Pakistani students are currently pursuing higher education across Russia and reaffirmed the Embassy’s commitment to further strengthening educational and academic cooperation between Pakistan and Russia. To recognize academic excellence, the Embassy also introduced, for the first time, Certificates of Appreciation for Pakistani students graduating with honours from Russian universities.
