Ambassador Rizwan Saeed visits Calderon Textiles to promote Pakistan–U.S. trade cooperation

Ambassador of Pakistan to the United States Rizwan Saeed Sheikh visited Calderon Textiles in Indiana as part of his economic and community outreach in the state.

Calderon Textiles is a leading Indiana-based supplier of textile solutions to the hospitality and healthcare sectors. During the visit, Ambassador Sheikh toured the company’s headquarters and distribution center and received a briefing on its operations, warehousing facilities, nationwide supply network, and commercial engagement with Pakistan.

The Ambassador appreciated Calderon Textiles’ longstanding business relationship with Pakistan and noted that the company sources a significant share of its textile products from Pakistani manufacturers.

“This partnership reflects the quality, reliability, and global competitiveness of Pakistan’s textile industry and represents an excellent example of mutually beneficial commercial cooperation between Pakistan and the United States,” Ambassador Sheikh said.

He reaffirmed the Government of Pakistan’s commitment to expanding bilateral trade and attracting greater foreign investment through continued economic reforms and a transparent, business-friendly policy framework.

Ambassador Sheikh emphasized that stronger business-to-business linkages would help unlock new commercial opportunities, enhance bilateral trade, encourage innovation and job creation, and further strengthen the economic partnership between Pakistan and the United States.
