A new western weather system brought widespread rain to Karachi early this morning, accompanied by thunder and lightning. The showers created a refreshing atmosphere but also led to disruptions in various parts of the city.
Rainfall intensity varied across different areas. Localities such as Gurumandir, Shaheed-e-Millat Road, Tariq Road, and Lasbela witnessed heavy downpours, while some neighborhoods experienced lighter drizzle.
Meanwhile, stronger thunderstorms persisted in Gulshan-e-Hadeed, Scheme 33, Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Liaquatabad, Federal B Area, Sea View Clifton, and PIB Colony. Gusty winds in several locations added to the challenges faced by residents, affecting routine activities and mobility.
