Ali Pervaiz Malik has inaugurated commercial production from the Baragzai X-01 well in the Nashpa Block, located in Kohat.
Addressing the inauguration ceremony, the minister said the project is expected to save approximately $329 million annually in foreign exchange by reducing reliance on imported fuel.
He noted that the new production would contribute to strengthening Pakistan’s domestic energy reserves and enhancing energy security.
Officials described the development as a significant step towards boosting indigenous resources and supporting economic stability.
