Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah has reaffirmed that the provincial government will reconstruct Gul Plaza in Karachi, which was gutted in a fire in January 2026, killing 67 people.
Speaking to the families of the victims, the chief minister said the government is fully committed to supporting them and there will be no delay in the reconstruction process. He assured that the victims of the tragedy are not alone and the provincial government stands with them.

He further stated that Gul Plaza will be rebuilt within two years, calling it the government’s responsibility to ensure rehabilitation and justice for the victims.
