Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar received a telephone call from Bahrain’s Foreign Minister Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani on Monday night, according to a statement issued by the Foreign Office.
During the conversation, Mr Al Zayani congratulated FM Ishaq Dar on the signing of the Makkah Joint Defence Agreement between Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and Türkiye.
The Bahraini foreign minister also expressed his intention to visit Pakistan in the near future.
Dar welcomed the proposed visit and thanked his Bahraini counterpart for his kind sentiments.
The deputy prime minister reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to promoting dialogue and diplomacy as a means of achieving peace and stability in the region and beyond.
