The seventh spell of the monsoon has entered Pakistan, with intermittent rain expected in Lahore and several other districts of Punjab today and tomorrow, according to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD).
The Met Office forecast rain in Lahore during the afternoon, while cloudy weather is expected to persist across the city over the next two days.
The minimum temperature in Lahore is likely to remain around 28°C, while the maximum could reach 36°C, the PMD said.
The city recorded a temperature of 31°C, with humidity reaching 76 per cent.
The latest monsoon spell is expected to bring further rainfall to parts of Punjab, providing relief from the prevailing hot and humid conditions.
