PM Shehbaz reviews progress on Prime Minister’s Youth Programme

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif on Thursday reviewed ongoing initiatives and future plans under the Prime Minister’s Youth Programme during a meeting with its Chairman Rana Mashhood Ahmad Khan.

Rana Mashhood briefed the prime minister on various projects and measures being implemented under the programme.

The prime minister reviewed progress on initiatives aimed at providing young people with modern education and market-oriented skills, creating opportunities in the digital economy, and expanding employment and entrepreneurship opportunities.

The meeting also discussed expanding the scope of ongoing educational, skills development, digital and welfare programmes under the Prime Minister’s Youth Programme and ensuring their effective and transparent implementation.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said the country’s youth were its most valuable asset and the guarantee of Pakistan’s bright future.

He said the government was utilising all available resources to provide young people with opportunities in modern education, skills development, employment and entrepreneurship.

The prime minister directed that projects under the Prime Minister’s Youth Programme be made more effective, result-oriented and aligned with the actual needs of young people.

He further instructed authorities to accelerate implementation of priority projects.
