Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Monday paid tribute to Pakistan’s security forces for eliminating four Indian-backed terrorists in an operation carried out in Pishin district of Balochistan.
In a statement, the prime minister praised the professionalism and bravery of the security personnel, saying the forces were achieving major successes against terrorism under the vision of Azm e Istehkam.
He said the entire nation stands united with Pakistan’s armed forces in the ongoing war against terrorism and fully supports their efforts to safeguard the country’s peace and stability.
The prime minister reaffirmed the government’s resolve to completely eradicate all forms of terrorism from Pakistan, stressing that operations against foreign-sponsored militant elements would continue until the menace is eliminated.
The terrorists were neutralised during a security operation in Pishin District, where forces targeted militants described by officials as belonging to the Indian-backed group Fitna al Khwarij.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif reiterated that the sacrifices of security forces would not go in vain and that Pakistan would not allow its peace to be undermined by hostile elements.
