A total of 5,250 government-sponsored Pakistani pilgrims have arrived in Madinah so far on 21 flights, according to the Ministry of Religious Affairs.
Officials said another 3,510 pilgrims are expected to depart on Tuesday through 13 flights. Four flights will leave from Islamabad, while Karachi, Lahore, Multan, and Quetta will each have two departures. One flight is also scheduled from Sialkot.
The ongoing Hajj operation is being carried out by Pakistan International Airlines (PIA), Saudia, Airblue, and AirSial.
Meanwhile, pre-Hajj arrangements, including training, documentation, and vaccination, are continuing at 10 camps across the country. Authorities have also deployed staff at Pakistani and Saudi airports to assist pilgrims around the clock.
The ministry said the flight operation will continue until May 31.
Separately, Hajj flights from Faisalabad resumed on April 19 after a gap of four years. The first flight, carrying 150 pilgrims, departed for Madinah and was seen off by local officials.
According to officials, PIA will operate 15 flights from Faisalabad to Madinah and nine to Jeddah during the Hajj operation, with the final flight scheduled for May 19.
