The Pakistan Peoples Party’s (PPP) parliamentary party in Gilgit-Baltistan on Friday reviewed the results of the recent regional elections and discussed its strategy for the formation of a new government.
The meeting was chaired by PPP Central General Secretary Senator Nayyar Hussain Bukhari. Participants conducted a detailed assessment of the election outcome and expressed satisfaction over the party’s performance, stating that the PPP had emerged as the single largest party in the region.
The participants attributed the party’s electoral gains to the campaign led by Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and Asifa Bhutto Zardari.
The parliamentary party also held consultations on various options for government formation and deliberated on its future political strategy in Gilgit-Baltistan.
Members expressed full confidence in Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and authorised him to make decisions regarding the formation of the government. They said any decision taken by the party chairman in the broader interest of the PPP and the people of Gilgit-Baltistan would be accepted by all members of the parliamentary party.
