Pakistan Army team secures top position at Sandhurst pacesticking competition

A team from the Pakistan Army, represented by the Pakistan Military Academy (PMA), secured first position at the International Pacesticking Competition 2026 held at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst in the United Kingdom.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the PMA contingent achieved a clean sweep at the event, winning the Overall Team Trophy as well as the awards for Best Pace Sticker and Best Driver.

The nine-member Pakistani team, led by Major Haider Gulzar, Adjutant of the PMA, arrived in the United Kingdom on June 5 to participate in the competition.

A total of 16 teams representing armed forces from different countries took part in the annual military event.

In a statement, the military’s media wing said the victory reflected the high standards of professional training, discipline and commitment maintained by Pakistan’s armed forces.
