Kuwait’s Foreign Minister Sheikh Jarrah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah will visit Pakistan from July 28 to 29 at the invitation of Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, the Foreign Office said on Monday.
According to a statement issued by the Foreign Office, the Kuwaiti minister will hold talks with Mr Dar during his visit, with the two sides expected to review the entire spectrum of bilateral relations and exchange views on regional and international developments of mutual interest.
Sheikh Al-Sabah is also expected to pay a courtesy call on Pakistan’s leadership during his stay, the Foreign Office said.The visit, it added, reflected the shared resolve of Pakistan and Kuwait to further strengthen their longstanding partnership and expand cooperation for the mutual benefit of the two countries.
On July 18, FM Dar held a telephonic conversation with his Kuwaiti counterpart. During the call, FM Al-Sabah appreciated Pakistan’s “constructive and mediatory role in promoting dialogue and regional stability”.
