SACM KP attends meeting to review government depts’ uplift projects

Peshawar  –  Special Assistant to the Chief Minister (SACM) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for Transport and Mass Transit, Samiullah Khan, attended a District Development Advisory Committee (DDAC) review meeting here on Wednesday.

The meeting was chaired by DDAC Chairman and Member of the Provincial Assembly Sher Ali Afridi, while Member of the Provincial Assembly Syed Qasim Ali Shah, along with senior officials from the departments of Health, Education, Public Health Engineering, Local Government, Transport, Irrigation, Agriculture, Water Management, Social Welfare, and other relevant departments also attended the meeting.

During the meeting, participants conducted a detailed review of ongoing development projects, public welfare initiatives, and the performance of various government departments across Peshawar district. Addressing the meeting, SACM Samiullah said that no negligence or unnecessary delay in resolving public issues in different areas of Peshawar would be tolerated. He said that all departments should ensure the timely completion of development projects and emphasized that government officials must discharge their responsibilities with transparency, integrity, and a strong sense of duty. He said that strict legal and departmental action would be taken against those, found negligent in the performance of their official duties.

The chairman (DDAC) and public representatives also directed the Health Department to immediately launch an effective anti-dengue spray campaign throughout Peshawar.

, while instructing the Education Department to ensure the timely completion of ongoing development projects and educational initiatives.

They reiterated that the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government remains committed to providing quality public services at people’s doorsteps, promoting transparent governance, and accelerating the pace of development. They stressed that all government departments must fulfill their assigned responsibilities efficiently and with complete dedication.
