LAHORE: Lahore High Court Justice Raheel Kamran Sheikh has resigned from his judicial position under Article 206 of the Constitution.
In his resignation, Justice Raheel Kamran Sheikh said he had decided to pursue work in the fields of legal scholarship, policy research and comparative judicial affairs.
He described his tenure in judicial office as an honour and a matter of pride.
Justice Raheel Kamran Sheikh also reaffirmed his commitment to the supremacy of the Constitution and the law.
He expressed gratitude to his senior fellow judges and court staff for their support and cooperation during his service.
