A trailer driver was killed and a cleaner injured after two trailers collided on the National Highway near Qazi Ahmed, police said on Wednesday.
According to motorway police officials, one of the trailers caught fire following the collision, resulting in the death of its driver.
The deceased was identified as Manzoor Ahmed, a resident of Mianwali district, while the injured cleaner was shifted to the Taluka Headquarters Hospital in Qazi Ahmed for medical treatment.
Police said both trailers had been taken into custody and an investigation into the incident was underway.
