ISLAMABAD: Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi met Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) chief General Ahmad Vahidi during his official visit to Tehran.
According to the Interior Ministry spokesperson, the two discussed the situation in the Middle East and exchanged views on regional developments.
Naqvi is currently in Tehran, where his meetings with the Iranian leadership and senior security officials are continuing, the spokesperson said.
Earlier, the interior minister held a detailed meeting with his Iranian counterpart, Eskandar Momeni. The two sides discussed bilateral relations, cooperation in various fields and the overall regional situation.
Naqvi’s visit comes amid continued developments in the Middle East.
