Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu has held a series of high-level engagements during his official visit to Turkiye, focusing on strengthening defence cooperation and expanding collaboration in aerospace and emerging technologies.
The visit underscored the close and long-standing defence relationship between Pakistan and Turkiye, with both sides exploring new avenues in military modernisation, aerospace innovation and technological development.
During the engagements, Air Chief Marshal Sidhu met senior Turkish military and defence officials, including leadership of the Turkish Air Force, to review ongoing cooperation and discuss opportunities for enhanced collaboration.
Discussions also included broader institutional ties between the two countries, particularly in training exchanges, defence production and strategic coordination.
Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to deepening cooperation, reflecting a partnership widely described as being built on mutual trust, shared interests and historical ties, with defence remaining a key pillar of bilateral relations.
