The Inter-Services Public Relations on Thursday said the country’s armed forces were fully prepared for future warfare and remained ready to respond decisively to any aggression against the homeland.
In a statement issued on the first anniversary of Marka-e-Haq, commemorating the events of May 6–7 last year, the military’s media wing said the Pakistan Armed Forces, particularly the Pakistan Air Force, marked a defining chapter in the country’s military history that reinforced national confidence and institutional resolve.
The ISPR said the milestone reflected the Pakistan Air Force’s continued transformation into a future-ready air power through the induction of advanced systems and the operational deployment of modern and disruptive technologies.
It added that the PAF had strengthened its operational capabilities by effectively employing multi-domain operations and adapting to the evolving nature of modern aerial warfare.
According to the statement, the successful conduct of operations during the conflict — described as unprecedented in scope and unique in the history of aerial warfare — highlighted the professional capabilities of the Pakistan Air Force and renewed the confidence and morale of the nation.
The ISPR said Pakistan remained a peace-loving country and that its armed forces represented a mature and responsible strategic culture focused on maintaining peace, stability and regional security.
It added that peace for Pakistan had always been linked with honour, dignity and sovereign equality.
The military’s media wing said the armed forces remained fully aware of the changing geopolitical and regional security environment, as well as the military advancements of adversarial forces.
“While the strategic environment continues to transform, the resolve, vigilance and commitment of Pakistan Armed Forces to defend the nation remain unwavering,” the statement said.
The ISPR added that the armed forces continued to invest in critical capabilities, advanced technologies and professional excellence required to meet future challenges.
It warned that any hostile designs against Pakistan would be met with a stronger and more precise response than what adversaries had witnessed during Marka-e-Haq.
Paying tribute to Pakistan Air Force personnel, the statement praised their professionalism, sacrifices and operational preparedness, describing their role as pivotal in defending the country’s airspace.
“Pakistan Air Force is — and will remain — second to none,” the statement added.
