Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif was accorded a formal welcome ceremony at the Presidential Palace in Kyrgyzstan.
Upon his arrival, Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov received Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on the red carpet.
The national anthems of Pakistan and Kyrgyzstan were played during the ceremony, after which the prime minister was presented with a guard of honour.
Prime Minister Shehbaz and President Japarov inspected the guard of honour, while a smartly turned-out contingent of the Kyrgyz armed forces presented a salute to the Pakistani premier.
The two leaders also introduced members of their respective delegations to each other during the ceremony.
