KARACHI: Karachi is expected to experience hot and humid weather on Monday, with no rainfall forecast for the city, according to the latest weather advisory.
Daytime temperatures are likely to range between 37°C and 39°C, while the heat index could reach 42°C, making conditions feel hotter and more uncomfortable.
The city’s temperature was recorded at around 27°C, with winds blowing at approximately 8 kilometres per hour and relative humidity at 62 per cent.
Meanwhile, mainly dry and hot weather is expected across most parts of the country, while partly cloudy conditions are likely in northern hilly areas during the afternoon.
The morning temperatures in major cities were recorded at 21°C in Islamabad, 24°C in Lahore, 28°C in Karachi, 25°C in Peshawar, 19°C in Quetta and Muzaffarabad, and 14°C in Gilgit and Murree.
In Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, partly cloudy and dry weather is expected in Srinagar, Leh, Pulwama, Anantnag, Shopian and Baramula, while Jammu is likely to remain hot and dry.
